Where Do I Vote? • How do I register to vote? If you are a U.S. citizen, a resident of Massachusetts (Kingston), and will be at least 18 years old by election day, you may register to vote:
In Person: at any Town Clerk’s or Election Commissioner’s Office, at the Registry of Motor Vehicles, or various other state agencies;
By Mail: fill out and return a mail-in voter registration form. Forms are available at the Town Clerk’s Office and most libraries and Post Offices. • How do I verify my voting status? You may verify your voting status by calling the Kingston Town Clerk's Office at 781-585-0502.
• How do I obtain an Absentee Ballot? An individual may request an application for an absentee ballot if unable to vote at the polls on election day due to his/her absence from the Town during the hours the polls will be open, or due to physical disabilities or religious beliefs. Application must be received by noon on the day before the election. For additional information or an application form, visit the Town Clerk’s Office or call 781-585-0502. You may also visit the Secretary of the Commonwealth, Elections Division and download an Absentee Ballot Application for yourself or on behalf of a Family Member.
