Absentee Ballots for the ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION to be held on SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2008, are now available at the Town Clerk's Office. An individual may request an application if unable to vote at the polls on election day due to his/her absence from the Town during the hours the polls will be open (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.), physical disability, or religious belief. The application must be received by noon on APRIL 25, 2008.
If you have any questions, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 585-0502. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed noon to 1:00 p.m. for lunch). You may vote absentee during office hours.
Additionally, the Town Clerk's office will be open on the following Tuesday evenings: April 15th and April 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Qualified voters may vote absentee during these evening hours.
The Town Clerk's Office will close at 12:00 noon on FRIDAY, APRIL 25TH, so the staff may prepare for the election and set up the polling location. At the Kingston Elementary School, PLEASE enter the polling area through the side cafetorium door entrance via the paved walkway.
