The Kingston Shellfish season opens for 2008 on April 1st. This is the sixth full year of shellfishing in Kingston waters. Shellfishing is allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To see if the beds are open on a given day, you may call the recorded message at (781) 585-0519 (the Harbormaster's Office). Shellfish licenses may be obtained at the Selectmen's Office, Town Hall, 26 Evergreen St., Kingston from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday thru Friday. You must present your driver’s license or picture ID in order to obtain a Shellfish License.
The fees for the 2008 season are:
• Resident $25.00 • Resident Seniors $10.00 (62 or older) • Non-Residents $65.00 which includes a parking permit conditional for Grays Beach.
