2011 Campaign Finance Reports

An act to improve the laws relating to Campaign Finance, Ethics and Lobbying was signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick on July 1, 2009.  The following changes to M.G.L. c. 55, § 26 went into effect on January 1, 2010.  Municipal Clerks are now required to make campaign finance reports available for public viewing on the internet: If the town has an existing municipal website; and If the report discloses $1000 or more in contributions received, expenditures made, liabilities incurred, or assets acquired or disposed for the reporting period.
