Note: Should an error occur as a result of how you typed your account number - and the bank cannot process your payment - a charge back amount of $30.00 (Administrative cost) will be charged to your Water, Excise, Real Estate or Personal Property tax account.

Effective July 1, 2009
Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Billing will be mailed two times a year instead of four times a year. This procedure is being implemented to conserve cost associated with printing and postage.
July 1, 2009 tax billing will have two receipts; one receipt due for first quarter taxes Monday August 3, 2009 and the second receipt due for the second quarter taxes on Monday November 2, 2009.
January 1, 2010 tax billing will have two receipts; one receipt due for third quarter taxes Monday February 1, 2010 and the second receipt due for the fourth quarter taxes on Monday May 3, 2010.

Please Note: Water Billing File will be available for paying on-line Wednesday, March 10, 2010. This will be THIRD QUARTER Fiscal Year 2010 and is for usage from 11/1/09 - 1/31/10. The file will be taken down on Saturday, April 10, 2010 as the bills have a due date of April 9, 2010. All payments will then have to be mailed to Collector of Taxes, PO Box 900, Kingston, MA 02364.

Please Note: Motor Vehicle Excise Bills are due thirty days from issued date. Please use care in typing the bill number, excise type you are paying and the year (in BOLD print) on bill. If you are not given access to pay your bill, the file has been taken down and your payment will then have to be mailed to Collector of Taxes, PO Box 900, Kingston, MA 02364.
